In Japanese, “Genki” means healthy mind, body & spirit which is our goal. “Gen-ki” is made up of 2 root words, or Chinese characters: 1.) “Gen” (元) means root, foundation; or source; and 2.) “Ki” (気) which translates as energy; force; or spirit. As we heal from unhealthy relationships, we learn to claim back our own voices and power while building community with those who treat you as equals.
